Resin and Carbon

Resin and Carbon

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. During shipping some of the filter contents can get knocked loose. The materials are not harmful. The black particles are carbon and the yellowish beads are our ion exchange resin, part of our filtration process. Filters can still be used as the resin will rarely end up in the filtered water.  A replacement filter has been ordered. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your business.
